Force reduction seems to be the leading story at institutions of every size and theme. Budget cuts hit hardest in security departments forced to cut needed positions. Administrators need to know...one camera does NOT equal two security officers! Cameras are great for finding out what happened...later. They do not, most of the time, stop incidents from occurring. That takes a walking, talking, well-trained person on patrol.
