CIPM Certification Options
Looking for quality management-level, cultural property protection-specific training and certification? The Certified Institutional Protection Manager (CIPM) certification program is now available in live and online formats.
The CIPM and CIPM II programs designate those managers, directors, administrators, or others responsible for the protection of a cultural, educational, or public institution. Candidates in this category include contract or proprietary security managers, security directors, law enforcement officers, facility managers, administrators, or those ultimately responsible for protection of the institution.
The CIPM II program offers the advance level of management certification, and requires completion of the CIPM level one program as a pre-requisite.
IFCPP's requirements for CIPM management certification include active membership, management and institutional protection experience, evidence of a clear criminal history, final approval by the IFCPP Certification Team, and completion of live or correspondence course work and exam.
