Description:
The Certified Institutional Protection Manager Program provides the latest information for professionals in a management or administrative role, responsible for cultural property protection, safety, and security. In this workshop over two days management level courses are presented in two half-day sessions, followed by a short on-site written exam. Coursework includes emergency preparedness, physical security, fire protection, legal considerations, workplace violence prevention, protection of collections, staff training, business continuity and more. Endorsed by the Museum Association Security Committee (MASC).
