Where: Wyndham Orlando Resort, Orlando Florida
When: November 13-17, 2005

Schedule:

November 13: Institute for Terrorism Research & Response Full-Day Pre-Conference Workshop & Welcome Reception

November 13-15: Exhibits

November 14-16: General Sessions, CIPM & CIPS Certification

November 17: Special Workshops

This unique get-together promises to advance our reputation for excellence in the presentation of top-notch special sessions and critical information certification sessions. After last year's rave reviews of programs related to emergency operations, crisis management and business continuity, we will expand on those themes with expert presenters and crucial information on the latest technology, advanced methods and procedures, and practical solutions to daily protection problems.

The Conference will open a new era in IFCPP development.  We will continue the tradition of bringing the very best in programs, presenters, and conference activities to attendees from across the U.S. and abroad, with representation from every aspect of the professional spectrum.  This year’s event will run 4 full days, with all-new programs that emphasize customer relations, entry screening, mass casualty/evacuation, emergency management, and business continuity.  We will focus primarily on the protection of cultural facilities/public institutions, but protecting the tourist economy and protection of tourists themselves will also be emphasized. And we will make sure to offer participation from some of the major attractions in the Orlando area. At least one excursion will be for attendees taking a "behind thescenes" tour of one of the major parks. General sessions and certification sessions will run back to back.

CIPM and CIPS programs have been expanded to1˝ days each, to continue the excellent instruction that marks our previous programs, but will now include additional education on emergency planning and coordination.  These programs have become, and will continue to expand upon, their roles as the finest professional instruction available in any certification program.   Special new features in pre-employment screening, and retail theft recovery will also be introduced.

Our special exhibits are just that...special. We feature those hand-picked vendors whose products and services are directly related to the protection of your facilities. The latest technology in electronic management systems, video surveillance, intrusion and fire detection, fire suppression, and much more will be on display with experts on hand to explain and demonstrate.

Nighttime events include excursions to an opening reception, pool party, and several local attractions.  The conference will also offer excellent attraction packages, including discounted attraction tickets and plenty of activities for companions, spouses, children, and/or families.

The Wyndham offers a beautiful facility with all the amenities, at reasonable rates and excellent recreational opportunities. Located in the heart of Orlando's entertainment area on International Drive, attendees may visit area attractions with ease. And of course, we'll do our best to top previous conferences with special events and entertainment.

Who should attend: Cultural Property Protection Professionals, Hospitality Industry Professionals, Tourism Management, Law Enforcement Specialists, Security Managers, Facilities Management, Property Managers, and others concerned about protection of public facilities.

Registration materials and lodging information will be available at the end of February. Please stay tuned for details.
