To provide a consistent source of information and education for persons responsible for the protection of cultural properties.
To develop and maintain professional and ethical guidelines for the performance of protection related services.
To conduct regional training programs, seminars, and workshops that enable practitioners at every level to participate.
To offer national certification for persons serving as professionals or responsible for the protection of cultural institutions.
To enhance the distribution of professional publications, educational material, and training.
To encourage recognition and advancement of the achievements of those involved in the protection of cultural properties.
Individual Members - Persons serving as, or responsible for, the protection of cultural properties.
Institutional Members - Those institutions, organizations or entities offering education, enjoyment or entertainment in a cultural environment.
Associate Members - Those manufacturers or service providers offering equipment, products, or services to cultural properties.
