Operations Staff
Robert N. Layne, CIPM is the Executive Director of the IFCPP. He is also Vice President of Operations
for Layne Consultants International, coordinating safety & security training,
planning and design for businesses and cultural facilities across the country. Rob serves on the Executive Board of Colorado Crime Stoppers, working with several
governmental and public agencies on a groundbreaking youth violence prevention
initiative. Rob graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor’s
degree in International Affairs. He is responsible for the daily operations of
the IFCPP and coordinates membership, educational, conference and certification
programs. Rob also coordinates operations for the newly formed Protection Alliance,
offering comprehensive security consulting services to organizations worldwide.
Stevan P. Layne, CPP, CIPM, CIPI is the founding director of IFCPP. Steve is principal consultant and CEO of
Layne Consultants International, an independent consulting firm specializing in
the protection of cultural properties and public institutions. He is a nationally
recognized leader in protection management and author of texts on security management. Steve serves on the ASIS Museum, Library, and Cultural Properties Council, the
Museum Association Security Committee of AAM, and as a visiting lecturer for several
local and international educational institutions. He
is responsible for the organization and continuing development of Foundation programs
and services, including certification, accreditation, and continuing education. Steve is a keynote speaker and featured presenter for hundreds of business and
institutional organizations. He oversees and presents key sessions in each of IFCPP's
certification programs.
Volunteers
Robert D. Bowman, J.D., CIPM is Director of Security for the Dayton Art Institute. He is also Chief of Police
in Perry Township, and a licensed attorney. He teaches at the State of Ohio Basic
Law Enforcement Academy and serves on numerous Ohio area boards. Bob is the legal
advisor for the IFCPP and a CIPM and CIPS instructor.
Eileen Brady, CIPM provides editorial comment and organization, reviews published material and
documents distributed by the association.
