The new and improved Certified Institutional Protection Specialist (CIPS) program designates those professionals working in, or directly responsible for the protection of cultural, educational, and public institutions. This special category of IFCPP basic certification includes security officers, visitor services, facilities, or other frontline staff with duties in safety, security, and emergency preparedness. UPDATED CIPS COURSES INCLUDE: Introduction to Cultural Property Protection Guest Relations Conflict Resolution and Confrontation De-Escalation Emergencies Securing Cultural Collections Legal Considerations
